Over the years love for fashion and style has been interrupted by (and had to co-exist with) my “other” career as an engineer, working as a Buyer for international corporations in North America, Asia and Europe.
This exciting journey gave me the opportunity to understand corporate culture, and to learn to communicate, clearly and credibly, with my clients and suppliers.
That’s where my dream to become an Personal Stylist started – my dream to help others to improve their lives through their own style and image. Whether it’s at a job interview, a romantic occasion, or simply going out for a coffee with friends, your image communicates many things about you, if not everything!
“You never get a second chance to make a first impression”–Oscar Wilde
I firmly believe that looking and feeling good generates an enormous self-confidence within us which we subconsciously transmit through our behavior and the way we express ourselves.
I got my first opportunity by chance -in- when I was living in China. In my free time I started helping out small shops and magazines that specialized in children’s and teenagers’ clothing, and before long I was designing looks Styling both for catalogues and for catwalks.
My first formal training as an Personal Stylist was at the London College of Fashion. I have attended numerous courses and workshops since, and continue doing so to keep up to date with new trends and methods.
I have the great privilege to work with some wonderful make-up specialists, hairstylists, photographers, fitness trainers and (life) coaches.
But it’s my clients who I learn from most of all and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to touch the lives of other people through my work, doing what I love.
Let’s talk soon!
