Congratulations if you are one of the chosen few who can find clothes that fit you exactly. The rest of us, however, usually need to make a few small adjustments because we are not all built to the manufacturer’s precise specifications.
If we sometimes we need to pull in a blouse to make it fit more snugly, that’s good! It means we’ll wear it more and we’ll feeling better when we wear it!
How often have you said to yourself “The pants are perfect but the problem is me. My waist is too thin and my hips too wide”
That’s absolutely wrong! Your body is perfect! You shouldn’t feel bad about visiting the seamstress/tailor’s to make something fit you. On the contrary, this makes your clothing unique to you, and so you should look at it as an investment, not a cost, and on top of that you’ll feel more StylishAndConfident when you wear it!
I always recommend that my clients visit a seamstress to correct these small details.
Each of us has our own, irrepeatable shape and when we customize our clothing a little it really becomes ours.
Sometimes a small adjustment is all you need and I would be delighted to advise you.
A brief anecdote:
One of my clients, (let’s call him “Phil”), is quite tall but has rather short legs for his height. Phil always used to wear his shirt untucked, outside his trousers, with the result that his legs looked even shorter, because of the exaggerated illusion of the distance from his neck to the end of his shirt.
The solution: if you have a physique like Phil, you should always tuck your shirt inside your trousers and your legs will look longer (I have to say, in Phil’s case it didn’t work, because he couldn’t give a shit).
In your case I’ll take you to my favorite seamstress or tailor! (and hope you listen to me).
We’ll talk soon!😉
